About LM Counselling

Supporting you to find clarity and connection

I’m Lindsay Munyard. For over 15 years, I’ve sat with people in their most difficult moments; children who feel misunderstood, teenagers finding it hard to cope, and parents or couples struggling to connect.

We all carry patterns: stress, old wounds, habits that once served us but now trip us up. My job is to help you understand how your mind, your nervous system, and your relationships are interacting and to guide you toward a path that feels more grounded, connected, and aligned with your goals.

Therapy that fits you

I draw from family therapy, EMDR, attachment work, and other integrative approaches that help you understand your emotions and inner experiences.

  • Grounded in evidence and years of clinical experience
  • Warm, collaborative, and responsive
  • Centred on your goals, at your pace

Experience

15+ years across hospitals, community services, and private practice

My career began in child protection and community mental health, growing into senior clinical roles in public services before establishing my own practice. Across this journey, I’ve supported clients at every stage; children, families, adolescents, adults, couples, and veterans.

Through it all, my focus has remained consistent: to see the whole person – their history, relationships, and strengths – and to help them feel safe, supported, and confident in moving forward.
